Conference Venue

Picture

The EAOHP 2022 Conference will take place at the University of Bordeaux and its Bordeaux Victoire campus - the city’s “historical” campus - situated in the heart of Bordeaux.

Getting here: Transport from the airport https://30direct.com/en/ and https://www.bordeaux.aeroport.fr/en/info/bordeaux-airport-shuttle-service. You can use the bus, the Jet Bus or taxis (note that they are expensive). There is a public car park next to the Victoire campus.

About Bordeaux

World wine capital, the city of Bordeaux looks resplendent in its 18th-century grandeur. UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site in 2007. Among the highlights to see include the Grand Théâtre, Place de la Bourse and its ‘water mirrors’, and the picturesque quarters of Saint-Pierre, Saint-Paul and Saint-Michel. As to the Musée d’Art Contemporain, it occupies a former colonial warehouse in the Quartier des Chartrons, famed for its wine houses. The grand quays beside the Garonne River offer a splendid 3km cycling trip through town.
