The Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology (JOOP) invites submissions for a special section on "Long-term intra-individual developmental perspectives on work behaviour". It is anticipated that the special section will appear in the March 2011 issue of JOOP.

OHP PUBLICATION OUTLETS SURVEY

In the interests of taking a closer look at publication outlets for OHP research, a team of colleagues is conducting a survey. The survey explores a number of journals in terms of their overall contribution to OHP, theoretical and methodological rigor, and relevance to practice. The survey will also help to categorize journals as OHP-specific or OHP-related. The survey can be found here.

CONFERENCE ABSTRACT SUBMISSION PERIOD CLOSED

Abstracts are no longer being accepted for the Academy's 2008 conference in Valencia, Spain. An unprecedented number of abstracts were submitted to the Scientific Committee which is currently busy reviewing these. Authors will be informed of the success of their submission by 30th June 2008. Visit the conference page to register to attend what promises to be an exciting conference.

VALENCIA CONFERENCE ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED

In response to requests from delegates, the deadline for the submission of abstracts has been extended to 31 MAY 2008. This new deadline applies to presentations submitted for the main conference as well as those submitted for the Spanish-language stream (one stream of activity on Friday 14th November is dedicated to Spanish-language presentations).

EA-OHP/SOHP Joint Survey

The Education Forum of the European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology (EA-OHP) and the Education and Training Committee of the Society for Occupational Health Psychology (SOHP) are jointly conducting research to define a core curriculum and professional competencies in occupational health psychology. Both are important to the future sustainability of the discipline.
